Experience Natural Acutherapy Holistic Care

ZEN ROCKS.jpg

Our services include TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE and alternative medicine techniques used in conjunction with needle-free acupressure. The basis is derived from encouraging the movement of Qi our “life energy” which flows through the 14 channels “meridians” inside our body. Acutherapy involves acupoints in which needle-free devices will be used to apply light pressure via acupressure, E-Acu pen, moxibustion therapy, auriculotherapy, cupping, Gua Sha, and Tui Na Massage.

What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine or Oriental Medicine is a medical system that has been used for thousands of years to help prevent, diagnose, and treat various ailments, illnesses, pain, and disease.  TCM aims to assist in restoring the body’s balance and harmony between the natural opposing forces of yin and yang. These forces can block Qi and cause disease.

How does TCM Acutherapy work?

TCM is based on theories of Qi, a vital energy in which flows along channels called meridians and help the body to maintain health.  In needless acutherapy several points located on the skin are tapped into and stimulated. There are hundreds of points on the meridians where the flow of Qi can be redirected to increase blood flow and decrease stagnation in the body. Acupuncture achieves this at a stronger level with the use of acupuncture needles.

What is Acupressure and which forms are used?

Acupressure is a non-invasive and needle-free mode of treatment.  It involves a virtually painless tapping and stimulation of acupoints along the meridian. In some cases, you can feel immediate relief. The treatment will include pressure from fingers, elbows, or special tools such as vaccaria ear seeds, body point probe stimulator or an e-stem acupuncture pen. You may feel minor soreness depending on the point location and method used. This typically dissipates within a few minutes or within 24 hours.
